Multi award winning womanswear designer and fashion trend forecaster MaryRose McGrath is now based in Belfast after working for over a decade in London.
She graduated with the only First Class Honours degree of her year,and has won many industry accolades, including 'Outstanding Graduate' - her first collection was profiled by The Guardian Newspaper and photographed by iconic London photographer, Rankin.
She has designed and illustrated for International names such as Matthew Williamson and Bella Freud as well as high street brands such as Oasis, Debenhams, Marks And Spencers, Arcadia and Brown Thomas to name but a few. MaryRose's designs have appeared in numerous glossy magazines over the years, including Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire - and have been regularly spotted on nationwide TV.
MaryRose is the first ever designer from Northern Ireland to design under her own name for a high street retailer - her Bespoke Bridal and Occasionwear range - MaryRose McGrath At House Of Fraser, launches in October 2009.
When previewing the collection in London, House Of Fraser's Womanswear Director described MaryRose's designs as 'simply magnificent' - MaryRose is therefore delighted to launch the range in House Of Fraser Belfast.
The unique and exclusive design service will ensure that every bride, Mother Of the bride or Groom and bridesmaids will have the dress of their dreams - made especially for them by MaryRose and her highly skilled team.
The designer has been commisioned to design unique creations for international events - this spring she was commissioned to design a unique dress for an actress attending the premiere of Clint Eastwood's final movie Gran Torino.
She is equally thrilled to have had the opportunity to dress Soprano Rebekah Coffey in two of her couture ballgowns on 12th September at the BBC'S Proms In The Park - the event at Hillsborough Castle was televised live on BBC4.
MaryRose was recently named as one of Belfast's 'Top 40 under 40' by the Belfast Media Group for her achievements in her fashion career to date.

In addition to all the above, she is designing divine couture creations, having launched her label MaryRose McGrath Couture in Autumn 2008.
