Originally from Downpatrick, MaryRose McGrath has worked in the Fashion Industry for over 2 decades.

 

After graduating with a 1st Class Hons. Degree in Fashion Design from Manchester Metropolitan University, she was named as one of the top fashion graduates in the UK, her final collection profiled by The Guardian. Since beginning her career in the London Fashion Industry many years ago, MaryRose has designed for many womenswear brands including Oasis, House Of Fraser, Arcadia, Debenhams, M&S,

Brown Thomas & Matthew Williamson. 

 

Over the past two decades, her work has been spotted in many national magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire, along with the

world wide press achieved with her Royal Replica version of Kate Middleton's Wedding Gown.

MaryRose's version was the first created in the UK, sampled and on display only 22 hours after the Royal Wedding.

She also loves working in costume & spent time in the Principal Costume Department of Game Of Thrones Series 7.

 

Her atelier & sewing school is based in Conway Mill Belfast, a few minutes from the centre of the city.
